The Miami Grand Prix 2025 | A Decade in the Fast Lane

F1 Miami GP

Since its debut in 2022, the Miami Grand Prix has rapidly become one of the most exciting and stylish events on the Formula 1® calendar. Held at the state-of-the-art Miami International Autodrome, the race merges cutting-edge motorsport with the tropical flair of Miami’s skyline, beaches, and vibrant culture. As it enters its fourth year, the Grand Prix continues to captivate fans from around the globe with its high-speed action and electric atmosphere.

A Legacy of Racing: Miami’s Motorsport Heritage

From Sports Cars to Superstars

Miami’s connection to motorsport stretches back to the early 1980s, when visionary promoter Ralph Sanchez organized the inaugural Grand Prix of Miami in 1983. Originally focused on sports cars, the event grew in popularity and remained on the calendar until 2012. It served as a stepping stone that nurtured the city’s racing culture.

Formula 1® Comes to Town

The dream of hosting a Formula 1® race gained momentum in 2018, culminating in the city being awarded a coveted spot on the global F1 calendar. Despite hurdles involving logistics and regulations, Miami secured a 10-year agreement and hosted its first F1® Grand Prix in 2022—becoming the 11th venue in the U.S. to welcome the world’s most prestigious racing series.

Where to Watch: Grandstand & Hospitality Experiences

Start/Finish Grandstand

Positioned on the North Campus directly opposite the pit and paddock complex, the Start/Finish Grandstand places spectators at the very heart of the action. From here, you’ll witness the electric energy of pre-race grid preparations, live pit stops, and high-speed launches down the main straight. Designed for comfort and convenience, this grandstand features reserved seating with seat-backs, shaded upper rows to protect against the Miami sun, and quick access to food and beverage vendors just behind the stand. While the view doesn’t include the post-race podium celebration (which takes place at the south end of the stadium), this location offers arguably the best seat to experience the race’s most critical moments.

Turn 1 Grandstands

Split into two locations—North and South—the Turn 1 Grandstands give fans a front-row seat to one of the most dynamic corners on the circuit. The North Grandstand is located at the end of the main straight, while the South Grandstand hugs the outside of Turn 1. Both offer a strategic vantage point of early overtaking attempts and dramatic braking battles as cars jostle for position right after lights out. Expect reserved seating with backs, covered upper tiers for sun relief, and close proximity to essential amenities like food, drinks, restrooms, and merchandise shops. For those wanting maximum intensity, the South Grandstand’s closer angle to Turn 1 brings the action even nearer.

Marina Grandstands

Set along the technical sequence of Turns 6, 7, and 8, the Marina Grandstands provide a unique view of Formula 1 cars at medium to high speeds as they navigate a series of sweeping bends. These seats are ideal for fans who appreciate the precision and handling required in the sport, rather than outright overtaking. The grandstand features comfortable reserved seating with backs, shaded upper levels, and access to nearby entertainment options like the Yacht Club area and fan zones for teams such as McLaren and Aston Martin. While it’s not an overtaking hotspot, the Marina section offers a front-row seat to the elegance and engineering mastery behind every lap.

Beach Grandstands

For fans who want racing action with a side of Miami’s signature party energy, the Beach Grandstands are a standout choice. Located near key overtaking zones at Turns 11 and 12, the South Beach Grandstand sits just outside Turn 11 while the North Beach Grandstand is tucked inside Turn 12. These areas serve as high-action zones at the end of the back straight, where bold maneuvers and last-second braking make for thrilling visuals. The atmosphere is festive and immersive, featuring bench-style seating, shaded upper rows, and live DJ sets, video screens, and trackside performances that keep the energy high throughout the weekend. Perfect for fans looking for both spectacle and speed.

Turn 18 Grandstand

Located at the penultimate corner of the circuit, the Turn 18 Grandstand is a strategic viewing spot that offers insight into race-ending moves and pit lane strategy. From this seat, fans can see drivers navigate the final twists before the start/finish straight, along with pit entry—a location that often becomes crucial in races decided by tire strategy or late-lap pit stops. This grandstand features reserved seating with backs, shaded areas for comfort, and close proximity to the main fan zone and premium food and beverage outlets. It’s a well-rounded location ideal for spectators who want to witness both the tactical and technical elements of the race unfold.

Choose Your View, Create Your Experience

Whether you’re looking to witness start-line adrenaline, savor high-speed cornering, or soak in the festival-like ambiance of the Beach Grandstands, the Miami Grand Prix offers a seat for every type of fan. Each viewing area is designed to elevate your weekend with comfort, convenience, and a memorable perspective of Formula 1’s most electric race in the U.S.
